I'm not a Latin scholar, I simply looked it up on the web, a method which is capable of retrieving good information if you're careful about what to believe and what to ignore. The web is full of statements made by uniformed people, and any of them can post any of it at any time and there are usually no editors or fact-checkers involved. If you look up things on the web every day you can develop some sense of what is fact vs. opinion, rumor, legend, speculation, fabrication, and exaggeration.
