James A. Speraw, Jr. was born September 28, 1955 in Waterbury, CT to Julia A. Tysko Speraw and the late James A. Speraw, Sr. and has been a resident of Glen Burnie for over 40 Years. Following his career in the Army he worked as the curator of the U.S. Army Center for Military History, both at Ft. George G. Meade and Ft. Belvior in Virginia. He enjoyed gardening, baking, helping the underprivileged, and his pets. But his life was the Military and Military history. James is survived by his mother Julia A. Tysko Speraw of CT, brother John A. Speraw of Glen Burnie and Sister Julie Ann Stachowiak of Newington, CT. He passed away suddenly on October 14 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends and co-workers.
