[AmRevolution] The Scatter Pattern of 30 to 35 Musket Balls

Dear Gentlemen:

I am a former President of the Tampa Chapter of the
Sons of the American Revolution.

I am currently attempting to find any EXISTING
data (or sponsor NEW research) on the accuracy
of a musket.

While we are all familiar with the general dynamics
of musket accuracy, I would like to establish a
baseline where a relatively ordinary musket fires
a musket ball 30 to 35 times into a target at a known
range.

I hope to obtain 30 to 35 measurements from the
center of the target.

Is anyone familiar with this kind of research in
the literature? Has someone already performed
this kind of analysis?
