[Civil War] Texican Flag

I have encountered a flag which is similar to a Mexican tricolor, but without the eagle. On it are written the words:

"Texas Guards Houston February 1862." There is also a reference to the Guerrero Btn.

The Texas Guards formed Company K (Jackson County) of the 2d Texas Infantry. Apparently they were mustered into Confederate service in February of 1862 and sent east (fighting at Shiloh, Cornith, and Vicksburg). The 2d Texas was also at San Jacinto in 1836 and in this battle they routed the Guerrero Permanete Btn.

Any thoughts?
