[AmRevolution] The Sunday Fight

I am wondering if anyone can tell me about a Battle that occured during the Revolutionary War.

All I can tell you about the battle is what my ancestor told the court when he was applying for his pension. That he entered into service in November of 1778 and continued four months. That he marched from Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania to the town of Lancaster from thence to Morristown ferry on the Delaware from thence to head quarters at Rauway Wood Bridge. That whilst he was there he was engaged and a battle fought called "The Sunday Fight" in which it was afterwards saw that five hundred British were killed.

Is this a recorded Battle of the Revolution? If so, where can I find information on it? If not, has anyone read anything else pertaining to this battle?

I would appreciate very much any information to be had on this battle.

Thank you very much,

Brenda Star
