Dear Will,

You'll have to explain that. The 2nd Texas was not in existence at San Jacinto. It was formed in 1861 and John Creed Moore was its 1st Colonel. I know that several Texas Revolution veterans served in the 2nd Texas, for instance Capt Clarke Owen of Co K (killed at Pittsburg Landing) was a survivor of the Mier Expedition and San Jacinto. I don't know that any of the companies claimed lineage from a Tex Revolution unit - but I am always ready to be educated.

Wool flag bunting can be obtained in Europe and one or two places in the US. do not discout that the flag could be a fake. The number of fake cloth items I have observed at shows has exploded.
