Dear Will,

I am trying to understand what you think this flag is, assuming it is not a fake. Is the working theory that this is some kind of "Camp" flag of the Guerrero Battn captured by Texas troops at San Jacinto who then put there own moniker on the flag years later?

Or is it that the Texas Guard of the 2nd Texas used the flag as a Company or Camp color, honoring the Texians that captured the Guerrero flag in 1836 and thus the flag was made to resembl;e the mexican tricolor?
