"One side of the flag is of white silk, upon which is embroidered the coat of arms of Georgia, over which are eleven gold stars. The reverse is of green silk upon which is embroidered the Harp of Erin, with the name of the corps and the date of its organization." That description appeard as the second paragraph of an article from Aug 26, 1861 in the Daily Morning News of Savannah, Georgia.
The website ACW Toy Soldier also has a picture of what the flag could have looked like. I do not know the accuracy of the shamrocks.
I would like to know the current location of the flag. I need to know the measurments to make a reproduction. Also any other details would be helpful.
