[WW II] Campt Tonkawa// MP companies

My father is doing research with the Tonkawa Historical Society on the WW II POW camp in Tonkawa OK from 1943-1945. I found your site and hope you will be able to help them in providing information on the camp, the German POWs interned there and the MP units at the camp. From information that we currently have available it is belived that the 456,477, and 478 Military Police Escort Companies were the units stationed at Camp Tonkawa, but little information is available on the units or any one in them. Also the 1874 Service Unit has been mentioned with them, but we do not know the relations of the units. We have basic information on the camp, how it was structured and of the killing of Corporal Kunze.
Thank you for your assistance,
V/R,
Ed
