Re: [AmRevolution] Capt. Lasher's NY Grenadiers

I am the author of the Osprey book you cite in your message. I also published a plate in the series Military Uniforms in America, No. 713 Grenadier Company, New York City Independent Militia, 1775-1776, which was reprinted in the Spring 1994 Military Collector and Historian. In addition, I wrote a brief side-bar on the unit which appears in Military Heritage, February 2002:60-61. The Grenadier Company was mobilized into Lasher's 1st Battalion of New-York Independent Forces, or the 1st New York Battalion. It served in the defense of New York city and campaigned in New York state until discharged 1 December 1776. If you need additional information on this, or any other Rev. War unit for which you are creating a miniature figure, you may contact me directly.
