3 1/2-inch iron howitzers, never heard of 'em!
In Response To: [Weapons] Important information on early US artillery ()

In the upper right section are tabulated "30... howitzers, 3 1/2 inch, iron."

This is yet another weapon I've never heard of-it is apparently so little-known that it has not appeared in any of the artillery books I've seen. Does anyone know anything about it?
