Here's a photo collage of an Alger 6-pounder insurance gun, provided here as background information. Someone emailed this to me recently. I don't have the dimensions except for the bore diameter, which is about right for a 6-pounder, namely 3.67 inches. The sender mentioned that one of the trunnions bore typical Alger marks.
