Here's an interesting site for anyone who needs information on Spanish military uniforms. The buttons on the left of the page linked below go to descriptions and pictures of uniforms of various services and periods. The center page, when clicked, will bring up a pdf document of an old book described as follows:
The Guia of Forasteros (Foreigners Guide) was a published record of the Estate structure and was issued by the Royal Prints.
The Estado Militar was the part related to the Army (peninsular and colonial) and the Marine. On it there is a description of its structure, units, chiefs and a rough description of the uniforms.
Many of you probably know about this site already, but it was new to me, so I'm guessing someone else in CMH is not aware of it.
