Info just rec'd from Mike Carrick:

"I heard from the Royal Armouries. They say the VHS photo is the British Mk I fuse pistol. They will send me a photo of the one in their collection, and then we will have proof.

Another Brit tells me some British pistols of the era are marked CS. He can't see the mark on the VHS pistol well enough, but he knows the CS marks on some Tranter revolvers gets Confederate collectors pretty excited. He thinks it means either Civilian Supply or Source, meaning the British Govt. bought on the open market, not on contract."
