[Uniforms] Kentucky National Guard during Civil War

there are some 15mm figures marketed (designed some time ago, designer now deceased) which are said to depict this Civil War unit. Possibly in the earliest days of the Civil War. The figures wear frock coats and BEARSKIN hats - very tall ones rather like Britsh Crimean period Guards or French Napoleonic Old Guards.
My question is: Is there any data substantiating this possibility?

The designer made a very large range, and, from what I can tell researched his subjects pretty carefully, so I'd be surprised if this was an error on his part, though possibly its a later error of labelling. I know that quite a lot of pre-Civil War militia units had bearskins in full dress, but despite much searching of all the uniform books I can find in the UK I can't track this unit's uniform down and check its authenticity, or discover what colour coat, trousers etc was worn by it.

It's one of those rather annoying puzzles which has been 'naggng' me for several years now.

Regrads,
Robin Thompson
