[Gen'l Info] Military Optics (WW I)

This is a bit off the usual track, but I wonder if some members are interested in 19th/20th Century military telescopes and could provide information or steerage concerning the Mk IV British signal telescope produced by Negretti & Zambra, London, 1917 and earlier? WD specs, production, etc.? [Example of marking: TEL SIG (Mk IV)** ALSO G S/NEGRETTI & ZAMBRA/LONDON/1917/No. 19xxx.] Specifically, I am attempting to determine to what extent the WW I models may have differed from superficially similar models of the 1860s.
