MILITARY UNIFORMS IN AMERICA now numbers over 800 titles, and comprises the most extensive documentation ever undertaken of this subject. Representing the work of different member artists, these brilliantly colored prints illustrate military units from North and South America, and the units of any country that saw service in the Western Hemisphere. A documented descriptive text accompanies each plate. The plates are 11 x 14 inches in size, printed on high quality watercolor paper and are suitable for framing. Although many of the early plates are out of print, over 400 of the rest are still available for purchase from the Company. Plates available for purchase are marked "Y" in the AVAIL. column on the linked pages below; those marked "B" are available in black and white, suitable for coloring with watercolors or marker pens. The earliest plates were handcolored in limited quatities. At some point, the early prints were reprinted, using a B&W lithographed outline and silkscreened colors. Some of these reprints, clearly marked "second" printing are available for sale. They are shown in the charts using "2d" as an indicator. Instructions on how to order, costs and mailing fees are available on the attached fee schedule. Order Here All plates are original production series unless otherwise noted. Pop-up views of the available plates are not the same quality as the prints, being limited to 256 colors, and because of the small size, hiding much of the detail. Some popups have trimmed off the left and right edges of the print due to scanner width. Canadian Forces 1600 - Present |
